Maintain the original radio control functions from the steering wheel when replacing the original radio with a non-original unit. Compare the displayed wiring connectors with the connectors in your vehicle to ensure they match both technically and visually. Before installation, check if one of the listed original radios was used in the vehicle. Always test the vehicle functions, system settings, and steering wheel controls before final assembly.

CAN Bus Information

• Connection: 40 Pin Quadlock.
• OEM camera connection: Cinch.
• Vehicles with 2x4 functions on the Fiat Ducato steering wheel and front control buttons.
• Vehicles with OEM navigation and touch OEM unit.
• Vehicle settings are not supported.

Important Additional Information

• A specific brand radio connection cable is required for full adapter activation.

General Installation Instructions

Verification Before Installation

1. Check all control functions and vehicle settings with the original OEM radio.
2. Remove the OEM unit without power.
3. Check all interface connections without power.

Connection and Wiring Sequence

1. Perform all settings and configurations without power.
2. Check the configuration of the connecting cable.
3. Connect the cable according to the aftermarket radio instructions.
4. Connect other wires as per the device manual.
5. Connect the main power connection last.
6. Perform software configuration of the interface according to the description and BDA.
7. Configure the aftermarket radio for SWC functions, camera, hands-free, antenna power, etc.
8. Test the steering wheel control function and vehicle communication.

Changing Interface and HU Cable Configuration

• Make changes without power.
• After changes, follow steps 5–8 above.

In Case of Interface or Vehicle System Failure

• Return the original OEM unit to the vehicle.
• Turn on the OEM unit.
• Wait for the CAN Bus to sleep.
• Check the hardware configuration of the interface.
• After the CAN Bus sleeps, follow steps 5–8 above.

When Modifying Connections or Wiring

• Modifications should only be performed by professionally trained personnel.
• Before connecting, verify compliance with manufacturer requirements and impact on warranty.
• Before connecting, verify function by measuring and according to the vehicle diagram.
• Modifications are made at your own risk without a guarantee of functionality.
