Connection cable for steering wheel control adapter 42XMULTILEAD1-0

• Connection (patch) cable for connecting various aftermarket car radios to the 42x-Serie steering wheel control (LFB / SWC) adapter.
• Car radio manufacturers use different types of control inputs: single wire, dual or multi-wire (Key1 / Key2 / GND) or 3.5 mm jack input – the exact type is always specified in the radio BDA (manual).
• All required wiring and DIP switch settings must be completed before connecting the interface to the vehicle.
• Some radios require additional “learning” (re-mapping) of steering wheel buttons in the unit menu according to the manufacturer’s BDA instructions.
• Always test proper functionality before final installation.

Warning

• Connection: 16 Pin connector → 3.5 mm jack / multi-wire output.
• Compatible with analog and CAN-Bus interfaces 42x(xx)-xxx.
• Analog pins: black GND, blue Key1 / SWC1, grey Key2 / SWC2.
• IR pins: brown IR In / SWC.
• Analog / IR: 3.5 mm jack.
• Set DIP switches according to the radio BDA (may differ for analog connection – see below).
• Atoto units are not supported.
• Must be ordered together with the steering wheel control adapter.

• Sony – 3.5 mm jack.
