Blaupunkt introduces dozens of new products: retro car radios, DAB+, antennas and reversing cameras
We are significantly expanding the Blaupunkt range at Ahifi with dozens of new products. And this time, it is not just about car radios – our selection now includes both modern and retro Blaupunkt car radios, models designed for commercial and utility vehicles, a wide range of car antennas, reversing cameras, monitors and practical installation accessories. Blaupunkt now offers attractive solutions for modern cars as well as youngtimers, classic cars, vans, motorhomes and trucks.
New Blaupunkt car radios for everyday use
Classic 1DIN Blaupunkt car radios remain the foundation of the range, combining straightforward operation with the features drivers actually use today. The affordable Blaupunkt BPA 1120 BT offers Bluetooth 5.0, USB, AUX and a very shallow installation depth, while the Freiburg 260 adds a high-quality FM/AM tuner and the Kiel 260 DAB also includes DAB+ digital radio. The range also features the BPA 1123 BT and BPA 1124 DAB BT, classic Madrid, Valencia and Nürnberg models, as well as units with a CD mechanism such as Barcelona, Milano, Essen and Stockholm. Customers can therefore choose anything from a simple Bluetooth radio to a more advanced model with DAB+, CD, USB and additional connectivity options. The current Blaupunkt range at Ahifi includes a broad selection of these models.
Retro Blaupunkt car radios: classic design, modern technology
One of the most attractive parts of the current range is Blaupunkt’s selection of retro-style car radios. This is where the brand makes full use of its heritage, offering units that visually fit perfectly into classic cars and youngtimers while providing modern-day functionality. A standout example is the new Blaupunkt Frankfurt Stereo, inspired by car radios from the 1960s and 1970s, yet equipped with DAB+, Bluetooth Twin Connect, USB-A, USB-C, hands-free calling and advanced audio processing. Its centrepiece is a 3" colour display capable of showing a classic analogue-style frequency scale. The retro range is further complemented by the Frankfurt Stereo MB, Frankfurt Stereo Classic, Frankfurt RCM 82 DAB, Hamburg SQM 23 DAB and Bremen SQR 46 DAB. These models are an especially attractive choice for classic BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, Volkswagen and other European vehicles, where a conventional modern radio can easily disrupt the original interior design. Depending on the model, features include DAB+, Bluetooth, USB, variable illumination, advanced equalisation and steering wheel control support.
Modern Multimedia with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto
Blaupunkt is not limited to classic 1DIN radios. One of the latest additions to the range is the Blaupunkt Wolfsburg 648 DAB, designed specifically for selected older Volkswagen, Škoda and Seat models. It retains a look close to the original factory radio while adding a 7" touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, DAB+, Bluetooth and USB. For owners of older Volkswagen Group vehicles, these radios offer an ideal way to enjoy modern features and technology without compromising the original interior with a visually out-of-place aftermarket unit. At the opposite end of the range is the Blaupunkt Cape Town 948 DAB, featuring a large 10.1" display, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, DAB+, a DSP processor and extensive connectivity options. The current Blaupunkt line-up therefore also appeals to customers looking for a genuinely modern multimedia centre with a wide range of features and possibilities.
Big new addition: Blaupunkt car antennas
We have also significantly expanded our range of Blaupunkt car antennas. A wide selection of solutions for both conventional FM/AM radio and digital DAB+ has now been added. The latest products include models such as the Club T38.1, Club T48 DAB, DAB-A-P, DAB-A-GPS-A Shark, Funline AM/FM/DAB/DAB+ and an active adhesive DAB+ windscreen antenna. Also particularly interesting are the Blaupunkt Autojet 25 Black and Autojet 25 Chrome. These are electrically retractable telescopic antennas that are a perfect match for retro car radios, classic cars and youngtimers. When the radio is switched on, the antenna extends automatically and retracts again when the radio is turned off. The current antenna range therefore covers simple mast antennas, internal adhesive antennas, DAB+ solutions, combined roof antennas and elegant Shark-style designs with integrated GPS.
Blaupunkt reversing cameras and monitors
Another new product category is Blaupunkt reversing cameras. The RVC range offers several installation options – from a camera integrated into the licence plate holder to universal cameras and versions designed for underside or vertical mounting. Also available are the 5" and 7" monitors Blaupunkt RVM 5.1 and RVM 7.1. The larger RVM 7.1 supports the connection of two cameras and offers a resolution of 1024 × 600 px, while the more compact RVM 5.1 provides a simple solution for passenger cars or vans. The range is complemented by installation accessories such as the 10-metre VK-RVC 4.X extension cable and the SF-RVC 4.X signal filter. These products are also among the latest additions to the Ahifi range.
DAB+ without replacing the original car radio
An interesting new addition is the Blaupunkt DAB'N'PLAY 550. This standalone DAB/DAB+ adapter makes it possible to add digital radio to a vehicle while keeping the original factory head unit. The system uses a separate wireless controller with a display and also offers Bluetooth and hands-free calling. A similarly practical accessory is the Blaupunkt ACP/AA Wireless Dongle, which converts wired Apple CarPlay and Android Auto into a wireless connection on compatible multimedia head units.
