Blaupunkt RVC 4.1 KH
The Blaupunkt RVC 4.1 KH is a universal reversing camera integrated directly into a license plate holder. It is designed for standard European license plates measuring 52 × 11 cm and represents an elegant solution without the need for major alterations to the vehicle body. The camera uses a highly sensitive color CMOS sensor, high-quality all-glass optics and offers a horizontal viewing angle of 110°. Thanks to automatic night-vision functionality it provides visibility of the area behind the vehicle even in poor lighting conditions. Practical advantages include switchable parking guidelines and mirror-image mode, so the camera can be used not only as a rear but also as a front camera.
Elegant installation in the license plate holder
The camera is integrated directly into a universal license plate holder. This eliminates the need to find a separate mounting location in the bumper or bodywork. The holder is intended for license plates sized 520 × 110 mm. The plate is clipped into the holder and the holder is mounted to the vehicle using stainless steel screws.
Adjustable camera angle
The camera angle can be adjusted according to the specific vehicle and the height of the license plate mounting. This allows the image to be optimized so the driver can clearly see both the area immediately behind the vehicle and more distant obstacles. The 110° horizontal viewing angle offers a good compromise between a wide field of view and natural depiction of the area behind the car.
High-quality CMOS sensor and all-glass optics
The Blaupunkt RVC 4.1 KH uses a sensitive color CMOS sensor and a high-end all-glass lens. This solution is designed for reliable everyday use when parking and reversing. The automatic night-vision function also helps maintain a usable image in reduced light conditions.
Switchable parking guidelines
The camera allows the parking and distance guidelines to be turned on or off. These can help the driver estimate distance while parking and reversing. If the parking lines are generated by the head unit or monitor, the camera’s lines can be easily deactivated.
Front or rear use
The Blaupunkt RVC 4.1 KH features a switchable mirror-image function. Depending on the installation method, the camera can be used as a rear or front camera.
IP68 protection
The camera’s construction meets the IP68 protection class, so it is ready for year-round exterior use on the vehicle and resists water and dust. Power is supplied from the vehicle’s standard 12V electrical system.
