AM/FM and DAB/DAB+ in one antenna

Blaupunkt DAB-A-P combines conventional radio reception with DAB+ digital broadcasting. The DAB section is active and low-noise in Band III, while L-Band is passive. The analogue section is likewise active and low-noise for high-quality radio reception. This makes the antenna ideal, for example, when replacing an original car radio with a newer unit that supports DAB+ but where good FM reception must be retained.

Active amplifiers with 12 V power

The integrated amplifiers are powered by 12 V. Depending on the specific installation, power can be supplied either via the internal conductor of the antenna cable (phantom power) or through a separate DIN connector. This gives the installer greater flexibility when wiring into different car radios and vehicles.

Shallow mounting depth

The mounting depth is only 15 mm, so the antenna does not require much space between the vehicle roof and headliner. The manufacturer also highlights the simple installation — just one opening is needed for both AM/FM and DAB/DAB+ functions.
