Blaupunkt AUTOJET 25 BLACK is an electrically retractable telescopic car antenna with a black antenna rod, intended especially for youngtimers, classic cars and vehicles where you want to preserve the period look of an automatically extending antenna. When the car radio is turned on the antenna automatically extends and it retracts again when switched off. The antenna is designed for FM reception in the range 87.5 to 108 MHz, operates on 12 V power and uses five telescopic sections. It is mounted into a hole in the bodywork with a diameter of 14.5 mm, typically into the vehicle fender.
Classic motor antenna in black finish
Electrically retractable antennas were typical for better equipped cars of the 80s and 90s. AUTOJET 25 BLACK follows this concept but uses a black rod instead of a chrome one, which looks more discreet and suits dark body details well.
Automatic extension and retraction
An integrated electric motor provides automatic movement of the antenna rod. The control wire connects to the autoradio’s electric antenna / REM +12 V output. When the radio is turned on the antenna extends and when switched off it retracts back into the bodywork.
Five telescopic sections
The antenna rod consists of five telescopic sections that extend sequentially when activated. This solution allows combining sufficient antenna length in use with compact dimensions when retracted.

AUTOJET 25 BLACK is primarily intended for FM reception 87.5–108 MHz. Blaupunkt also states that in combination with a suitable active antenna splitter the antenna can be used for DAB+ reception.
