Blaupunkt RVC 2.0 car reversing camera

Blaupunkt RVC 2.0

Blaupunkt RVC 2.0 is a robust universal reversing camera primarily intended for commercial vehicles, vans, motorhomes and other vehicles where high durability and reliable imaging are required even in adverse conditions. The camera uses a High Performance CCD sensor, operates in the PAL system and offers a resolution of 480 TV lines. Thanks to 18 infrared LED diodes the camera can display the area behind the vehicle even in complete darkness. With active IR illumination the manufacturer specifies visibility of approximately up to 12 meters at 0 lux.

Reliable image day and night

Blaupunkt RVC 2.0 is equipped with a quality CCD sensor and automatic infrared illumination. Under normal conditions it operates with a minimum illumination of 1 lux, while with the IR LEDs activated it can function in total darkness. This is particularly useful for vans, motorhomes or commercial vehicles that often maneuver in dark yards, warehouses or unlit parking areas.

18 infrared LED diodes

The integrated 18 IR LEDs automatically activate when light is insufficient. This provides a usable image where a standard reversing camera without illumination would show almost nothing. The night vision range is, according to the manufacturer, approximately 12 meters.

Wide viewing angle

The camera offers a viewing angle of 95° horizontally, 80° vertically and 120° diagonally. This gives the driver a wide overview of the area behind the vehicle when reversing, parking and maneuvering.

High durability for commercial vehicles

RVC 2.0 is designed for operation in demanding conditions. The manufacturer states high resistance to vibration and shock and an operating temperature range from -30 to +70 °C. The camera has a very robust waterproof housing and is suitable for year-round outdoor use.
