Antenna Blaupunkt DAB / DAB+ Scheibenklebeantenne (active)

Blaupunkt DAB / DAB+ Scheibenklebeantenne (aktiv)

The Blaupunkt DAB / DAB+ Scheibenklebeantenne (active) is an active adhesive windscreen antenna designed for receiving digital DAB and DAB+ radio broadcasts. It mounts vertically on the inside of the windshield and, thanks to the integrated amplifier, offers an easy solution for retrofitting a vehicle with digital radio without drilling into the body. The antenna supports Band III + L, uses a gold-plated SMB connector and is phantom-powered directly from a compatible car radio. The manufacturer lists it as compatible with all current Blaupunkt car radios that support phantom antenna power.

Integrated 15 dB amplifier

The antenna includes an integrated amplifier with 15 dB gain that helps improve the quality of digital radio reception. The amplifier is phantom-powered with 12 V, so no separate power wire is required.

Easy installation without drilling

The antenna is designed to be glued to the vehicle’s windshield. Installation is therefore non-destructive and does not require drilling holes in the roof or body. The manufacturer prescribes vertical mounting on the windshield. For optimal reception it is important to properly install the antenna’s grounding section to the vehicle’s A-pillar.

Gold-plated SMB connector

Connection to the car radio is via a gold-plated SMB connector, commonly used for DAB antenna inputs on car radios. The connection cable is 3 meters long, providing ample length to route the cable from the windshield to the car radio.

Compact construction

The total length of the antenna radiator including the amplifier is 185 mm. The amplifier module measures only 48 × 30 × 8 mm, so the antenna occupies minimal space on the glass.
