Maintain the original steering wheel radio control functions when replacing the factory radio with an aftermarket unit. Compare the displayed wiring connectors with those in your vehicle to ensure they match both technically and visually. Verify the vehicle's functionality, system settings, and proper steering wheel control (SWC) operation before final installation.
Designed for Vehicles
- Chevrolet Spark (KL1M) (03/2010 -> 09/2012) – vehicles with an analog 18-pin Chevrolet connector and Daewoo OEM radio with front AUX/USB and central rotary ON/OFF control.
- Chevrolet Spark (KL1M) (10/2012 -> 08/2014) – vehicles with GM OEM radio with left rotary ON/OFF control and right rotary Menu control, 48-pin Opel connector.

- 18-pin Chevrolet connector
- Support for vehicles with Daewoo OEM radio with front AUX/USB and central rotary ON/OFF control
- For the 10/2012 -> 08/2014 version, support for GM OEM radio with left ON/OFF control and right Menu control (48-pin Opel)
Important Additional Information
- A specific radio brand connecting cable is required for full adapter activation.
General Installation Instructions
Pre-installation Verification:
- Check all control functions and vehicle settings with the original OEM head unit.
- Remove the original radio (OEM HU) without power.
- Verify all interface connections for correct wiring – without power.
Connection and Wiring Order:
- Perform interface settings and hardware configuration without power.
- Check the connection cable configuration to the HU.
- Connect the cable to the HU according to the aftermarket device manual.
- Connect other wires according to the device manual.
- Connect the entire installation to the vehicle – connect the main power supply last.
- Perform software configuration of the interface according to the product description and BDA.
- Configure the aftermarket HU (steering wheel control, camera, hands-free, antenna power, and more).
- Conduct a functional test of the steering wheel control and vehicle communication.
Interface and HU Cable Configuration Changes:
- Make all changes without power.
- After changes, repeat steps 5 to 8 listed above.
In Case of Interface or Vehicle System Failure:
- Reinstall the original OEM HU in the vehicle.
- Start the original unit.
- Induce a calm state (sleep) in the CAN Bus system.
- Check the HW configuration of the interface.
- After the CAN Bus is calm, repeat steps 5 to 8 listed above.
When Modifying Wiring or Cable Routing:
- Only professionally trained personnel should perform connections and modifications.
- All changes must be verified for manufacturer approval or impact on vehicle warranty before connection.
- All modifications must be verified by measurement and comparison with the vehicle wiring diagram before connection.
