Comfortmat Vision is an ultra-light sound and thermal insulating material designed for effective soundproofing with minimal added vehicle weight. It uses a modern AcoFoam acoustic foam based on a blend of synthetic rubbers, developed with an emphasis on high noise absorption, long service life and stable properties even in extreme conditions. Thanks to its low specific weight of only 440 g / m², Comfortmat Vision is an ideal choice for applications where keeping added weight to a minimum is essential while significantly improving acoustic comfort. The material excels at isolating a wide range of unwanted frequencies while also providing very good thermal insulation. The closed polymer structure ensures high resistance to moisture, biological attack and temperature changes. The material includes a highly adhesive mounting layer that ensures reliable fixation even on very contoured and curved surfaces. The adhesive layer retains its properties in an extreme temperature range from -50 to +150 °C, ensuring long-term installation stability without the risk of spontaneous detachment.

Where to apply

Comfortmat Vision is intended for soundproofing any areas of a car where the smallest possible increase in vehicle weight is desired while maintaining a high level of acoustic comfort. Typically this includes doors, roof, trunk, hood and, thanks to its waterproofness, also outer wheel arches and other surfaces. Vision is always applied as a second layer over an antivibration material; to achieve maximum effect it is possible to apply a third layer in the form of the Comfortmat Blockator membrane material. That rapidly increases effectiveness, which you will especially benefit from when applying Comfortmat Vision to floors and wheel arches.
