Mercedes-Benz V-Class - soundproofing

Soundproofing of the premium MPV Mercedes‑Benz V‑Class. This popular vehicle is a regular visitor to our workshop, mainly because of its insufficient factory sound insulation. Since it’s a higher-class vehicle, owners expect a high standard even from the factory soundproofing—and often experience great disappointment after purchase. Even in the V‑Class there is practically no improvement compared to other utility vehicles, and while driving you can hear unpleasant noise from the engine, wheels, road surface and aerodynamic noise. To make the beloved "V" meet the standards of a premium vehicle, the owner turned to us to deal with the noise in this car. Together with the owner we chose our Premium Plus soundproofing package, which, in addition to the roof, covers all the important areas of the vehicle and uses more effective materials than the classic Premium package. Specifically, we focused on the front, sliding and fifth doors, the floor, the sides, the front and rear wheel arches and the hood. Beyond the package we also soundproofed the dashboard, whose insulation is very important in these vehicles. For such a large car the package price is higher because we spent more time on the vehicle and used a larger quantity of materials.
