Toyota Corolla - complete soundproofing for comfortable travel

The latest generation Toyota Corolla has become one of the most sought-after models on the market and is among the cars that can appeal to a wide range of drivers. Like the Toyota brand as a whole, the Corolla maintains a reputation as a reliable and economical car that excels in technical refinement and modern technologies. Although it is a very successful car, it falls significantly short of premium Lexus models and some competitors in the lower mid-size class when it comes to factory sound insulation. Weaker insulation of the suspension, luggage compartment and doors is noticeable on the highway or on rough asphalt as increased rolling and aerodynamic noise, which reduces comfort inside the car. It is therefore no surprise that customers often bring these and other new Toyotas to us straight from the factory.

The customer chose our complete soundproofing program Expert Plus, which represents our most effective option unless we talk about the bespoke Ultra package. Expert Plus includes the application of at least two layers of top Comfortmat materials, combining maximum anti-vibration effect with modern membrane materials to attenuate airborne noise. During the installation we soundproofed the floor including the luggage compartment, the roof, the dash, the hood, the front, rear and fifth doors and the wheel arches from the interior side. In the most stressed areas, such as the floor and wheel arches, we used extra-strong anti-vibration materials and a multilayer combination of high-attenuation membranes to achieve the greatest possible effect.

The installation took place over one working day with our four-person team. The result is a noticeably quieter and more comfortable cabin that meets a higher standard than Toyota offers in the stock condition. The difference is evident immediately—at highway speeds but also when driving on ordinary roads, where the Corolla is significantly quieter, more comfortable and gives a more mature impression thanks to the soundproofing.View products >Hide products >
