Mazda 3 - basic soundproofing

Basic soundproofing for a Mazda 3. The sound insulation of the latest generation was slightly improved compared to the previous one, yet it still ranks among the poorer in its class and the Mazda 3 suffers especially from tire noise and surrounding road noise. That noise quickly increases with rising speed and spoils the impression of this otherwise very successful car. Although we always recommend complete soundproofing, we agreed with the owner on a more economical option without floor insulation. Specifically, we focused on the front and rear doors, the trunk, the inner side of the rear wheel wells, the outer side of the front wheel wells, and the hood. We soundproof all areas with premium Comfortmat membrane materials and the installation can of course be completed within one working day.
