CAN Bus Information

Connectors and Power:

• Connector: ISO / Mini ISO.
• OEM amplifier connection 2-channel / 4-channel via ISO speaker output.
• Blue wire: +12 V REMOTE for amplifier activation.
• Brown wire: GND ground (optional – use if audio output is missing).

Settings:

• Check DIP switches according to the type of aftermarket radio.
• Fine-tune OEM audio system levels for each channel individually.

Diagnostic LED Indication:

• Blue flashing: searching for CAN Bus signal.
• Blue steady: CAN Bus active.
• Red steady: active +12 V ignition current.

General Installation Guidelines

Pre-Installation Verification:

2. Disconnect the original radio (OEM HU) without power.
3. Check all interface connections to ensure they are correctly connected – without power.

Connection and Wiring Sequence:

1. Check interface settings and hardware configuration – without power.
2. Check the connection cable configuration to HU – without power.
3. Connect the cable to the HU as per the aftermarket device manual.
4. Connect other wires as per the device instructions.
5. Connect the entire installation to the vehicle – connect the main power supply last.
6. Perform software configuration of the interface according to the product description or manual.
7. Configure the aftermarket HU (e.g., steering wheel control, camera, hands-free, antenna power).
8. Perform a functional test of the steering wheel control and vehicle communication.

Changing Interface and HU Cable Configuration:

• Make all changes without power.
• Repeat steps 5 to 8 as listed above.

In Case of Interface or Vehicle System Failure:

• Reinstall the original OEM HU.
• Start the original unit.
• Trigger the CAN Bus system shutdown.
• Check the hardware configuration of the interface.
• After CAN Bus shutdown, repeat steps 5 and 6 as listed above.
