Kia steering wheel adapter
Adapter for activating the control buttons on the steering wheel when buying an aftermarket car radio with an ISO connector (included in the adapter) for vehicles:
- Kia Sorento III. [UM] (2015 -> 2021)
- Kia Carnival [VQ] (2015 -> 2021)
Important additional information
- Cars with OEM car radio (Hyundai Mobis) with mini ISO connector and active audio system.
- The adapter supports the control of the hands-free kit in the installed aftermarket car radio using the buttons on the steering wheel.
- For aftermarket Sony, Kenwood, Panasonic, JVC, Pioneer, Blaupunkt, Clarion, Alpine, LG, Zenec, Becker car radios.
- Installation instructions in English can be found under this link .
- To fully activate the adapter, it is necessary to order a connecting cable for the given brand of car radio! (see below)
The adapter includes wires with analog signals
- +12 V after turning on the key (vol. 15).
- +12 V after turning on the vehicle lighting.
- +12 V after engaging reverse gear.
- Speed pulses.
