Connection cable for steering wheel control adapter 42ARC1072

• Connection (patch) cable for connecting Pioneer AVH, DMH and SPH (model years 2021 ->) aftermarket head units to steering wheel control adapter (LFB/SWC).
• Different head unit manufacturers use different types of control inputs: single-wire, two- or multi-wire (Key1/Key2/GND) or 3.5 mm jack input – the exact version is specified in the manual (BDA) of the specific head unit.
• All required connection wires must be connected before connecting the interface to the vehicle.
• For some units, it is necessary to “learn” (remap) steering wheel button functions in the unit menu according to the manufacturer’s BDA instructions.
• Always test correct functionality before final installation.

Warning

• Connection: Molex Micro Fit 4 pin (f) → 3.5 mm jack.
• LFB connection cable for 42cx401 interface (compatible with 42a-xxxx-xxx kits).
• Jack ring red wire → BAT43 Schottky diode / 0.2 A diode with cathode / blocking ring towards Micro Fit connector.
• DIP switch setting: according to the table below (OFF/ON/ON mode).
• Atoto aftermarket units are not supported.
• Must be ordered together with the appropriate steering wheel control adapter.

Designed for head units:

• Pioneer 3.5 mm jack – all models with flat glossy metal rear side (2021 ->).

Compatible Pioneer devices:

• AVH – AVH-A240BT, AVH-A240DAB.
• DMH – DMH-A240BT, DMH-A241BT, DMH-A340DAB, DMH-A245BT.
• SPH – SPH-DA160DAB, SPH-DA360DAB.

DIP switch settings for 42cx401:

• Pioneer – OFF / ON / ON.
