Maintain the original radio control functions from the steering wheel when replacing the original radio with an aftermarket unit. Depending on the vehicle's features, functionality, and the software of the newly installed radio, some functions may be limited or replaced with others. Connectors and Power:

Diagnostic LED Indication:

Blue flashing: searching for CAN Bus signal.
Blue on: CAN Bus active.
Red on: active +12V ignition current.

Important Additional Information

Intended for aftermarket radios from Sony, Kenwood, Panasonic, JVC, Pioneer, Blaupunkt, Clarion, Alpine, LG, Zenec, Becker.
To fully activate the adapter, a connecting cable for the specific radio brand must be ordered.

General Installation Guidelines

Verification Before Installation:

Check all control functions and vehicle settings with the original OEM main unit.
Disconnect the original radio (OEM HU) without power.
Check all interface connections to ensure they are properly connected - without power.

Connection and Installation Order:

Check the interface settings and HW configuration - without power.
Check the connection cable configuration to the HU - without power.
Connect the cable to the HU according to the aftermarket device manual.
Connect other wires according to the device manual.
Integrate the entire installation with the vehicle - connect the main power connection last.
Perform software configuration of the interface as instructed in the product description or manual.
Configure the aftermarket HU (e.g., steering wheel control, camera, handsfree, antenna power).
Conduct a functional test of the steering wheel control and vehicle communication.

Changing Interface and HU Cable Configuration:

Make all changes without power.
Repeat steps 5 to 8 listed above.

In Case of Interface or Vehicle System Malfunction:

Reinstall the original OEM HU.
Start the original unit.
Initiate CAN Bus system shutdown.
Check the HW configuration of the interface.
After CAN Bus shutdown, repeat steps 5 and 6 listed above.

When Modifying Connections or Wiring:

Only professionally trained personnel may perform connections and modifications.
