Retain the original steering wheel radio control functions when replacing the factory radio with an aftermarket unit. Depending on vehicle equipment, feature scope and the software of the newly installed radio, some functions may be limited or replaced by others. Compare the shown wiring connectors with the connectors in your vehicle and make sure they match both technically and visually. Check whether one of the listed OEM radios was originally installed. Connection for OEM steering wheel control (SWC): 3.5 mm jack or free wire.
For vehicles with an OEM analog amplifier: use an active ISO>ISO adapter if required.
Blue-white wire: +12 V Amp Remote.

Set DIP switches according to the aftermarket unit manufacturer's instructions.

Vehicle compatibility:

Vehicles with an OEM audio system (analog) – adapter for an active system optional if required.

Important additional information

Compatible with aftermarket radios with an analog steering wheel control input (e.g., Sony, Kenwood, JVC, Pioneer, Alpine, Blaupunkt, Clarion, Zenec, etc.).
To fully activate the adapter, it is necessary to order the connecting cable for the specific radio brand.

General installation instructions

Verification before installation:

Check all control functions and vehicle settings with the original OEM head unit.
Disconnect the original radio (OEM HU) with power off.
Check all interface connections to ensure they are properly connected – with power off.

Connections and wiring sequence:

Set and check the hardware configuration of the interface – with power off.
Check the configuration of the connection cable to the head unit – with power off.
Connect the cable to the head unit according to the aftermarket device manual.
Connect other wires according to the device manual.
Connect the entire installation to the vehicle – attach the main power connection last.
Perform the software configuration of the interface according to the product description or manual.
Configure the aftermarket head unit (steering wheel control, camera, handsfree, antenna power, etc.).
Perform a functional test of the steering wheel control and vehicle communication.

Changing the interface and head unit cable configuration:

Make all changes with power off.
After changes, repeat steps 5 to 8 above.

In case of interface or vehicle system failure:

Reinstall the original OEM head unit.
Start the original unit.
Initiate CAN Bus system shutdown.
Check the hardware configuration of the interface.
After CAN Bus shutdown, repeat steps 5 and 6 above.

When modifying wiring or routing cables:

Connections and modifications should only be carried out by professionally trained personnel.
All changes must be verified before connection with regard to manufacturer approval or impact on the vehicle warranty.
All modifications must be verified by measurement and compared with the vehicle wiring diagram before connection.
