• Land Rover Discovery IV (LA) (09/2009->11/2013) with OEM MOST audio system, does not support vehicle settings, date and time settings, OEM display shows Land Rover startup logo, RCA output from aftermarket radio for pre-amplifier, does not support fader function
• Land Rover Range Rover Sport I (LS) (09/2009->08/2013) with OEM MOST audio system, does not support vehicle settings, date and time settings, OEM display shows Land Rover startup logo, RCA output from aftermarket radio for pre-amplifier, does not support fader function

CAN Bus Information

• Connection: 20 Pin Land Rover connector.
• Connection: OEM MOST audio system > RCA(m) red/white.
• Vehicle settings are not supported.
• Date and time settings are not supported.
• OEM display shows Land Rover startup logo.
• RCA(m) output from aftermarket radio > pre-amplifier output.
• Fader function is not supported.

Important Additional Information

• To fully activate the adapter, an interconnecting cable for the specific radio brand must be ordered.

General Installation Guidelines

Pre-installation Verification

1. Check all control functions and vehicle settings with the original OEM radio.
2. Perform OEM unit removal without power.
3. Check all interface connections without power.

Connection and Wiring Order

1. Perform all settings and configurations without power.
2. Check the connection cable configuration of the radio.
3. Connect the cable according to the instructions to the aftermarket radio.
4. Connect other wires according to the device instructions.
5. Connect the main power connection last.
6. Perform software configuration of the interface according to the description and BDA.
7. Configure the aftermarket radio for SWC functions, camera, hands-free, antenna power, etc.
8. Test steering wheel control function and vehicle communication.

Interface and HU Cable Configuration Change

• Make changes without power.
• After change, follow steps 5–8 above.

In Case of Interface or Vehicle System Failure

• Return the original OEM unit to the vehicle.
• Turn on the OEM unit.
• Wait for the CAN Bus to sleep.
• Check the hardware configuration of the interface.
• After CAN Bus sleep, follow steps 5–8 above.

When Modifying Connections or Wiring

• Modifications should only be performed by professionally trained personnel.
• Before connecting, verify compliance with manufacturer requirements and impact on warranty.
