Maintain the original radio control functions from the steering wheel when replacing the original radio with an aftermarket unit. Pink: +12 V ignition terminal 15 (max. 1.5 A).
Orange: +12 V illumination terminal 58 (max. 0.1 A).
White: +12 V reverse signal (max. 1.5 A).
Yellow/green, yellow/red: speed pulse.

Important Additional Information

Designed for aftermarket radios from Alpine, Blaupunkt, Clarion, Digital Dynamics, ESX, JVC, Kenwood, Pioneer, Snooper, Sony, XZent, Zenec, and others (multilead solution).
To fully activate the adapter, an interconnecting cable for the specific radio brand must be ordered.

General Installation Guidelines

Pre-Installation Verification:

Check all control functions and vehicle settings with the original OEM head unit.
Remove the original radio (OEM HU) without power.
Check all interface connections for correct wiring – without power.

Connection and Installation Order:

Perform interface settings and hardware configuration without power.
Check the connection cable configuration to the HU.
Connect the cable to the HU according to the aftermarket device instructions.
Connect other wires according to the device instructions.
Connect the entire installation to the vehicle – connect the main power connection last.
Perform software configuration of the interface according to the product description and BDA.
Configure the aftermarket HU (steering wheel control, camera, handsfree, antenna power, etc.).
Conduct a functional test of the steering wheel control and vehicle communication.

Change of Interface Configuration and HU Cable:

Make all changes without power.
Repeat steps 5 to 8 above after making changes.

In Case of Interface or Vehicle System Failure:

Return the original OEM HU to the vehicle.
Start the original unit.
Induce the CAN Bus system to sleep.
Check the HW configuration of the interface.
After the CAN Bus has calmed, repeat steps 5 to 8 above.

Only professionally trained personnel should perform connections and modifications.
All changes must be verified for manufacturer approval or impact on vehicle warranty before connection.
