This feature, combined with a central hole (only for larger diameters), allows for reducing the temperature of the polished surface, the pad itself, and the polisher. The safe thickness of the pad and the side profile with a thoughtfully beveled shape allow for greater safety comfort and precision in harder-to-reach areas. How to Care for Polishing Pads

• Caring for polishing pads is very important for their longevity and future polishing capabilities.
• During use, the temperature of the pad itself is very important for its lifespan, as it can heat up to high temperatures while polishing paint.
• If you polish the paint for a long time and frequently overheat the pad, you significantly shorten its lifespan.
• Therefore, monitor the temperature, and if the pad is overheated, let it cool down for a while.
• At high temperatures, both the foam and the pad's adhesive suffer.
• The polishing pad needs to be cleaned frequently during the polishing process; otherwise, it will stop working, and paint polishing will not be effective.
• Once the polishing pad is clogged with polishing paste, it needs to be addressed.
• You can use a medium-soft brush and set the polisher to a lower speed in your hand and brush away the old paste. Just hold the brush in your hand and let the polisher rotate the pad.
• Be careful not to throw the used paste onto the polished car paint during rotary cleaning.
• If you own an air compressor, you can use it to blow out the pad while the polisher is running.
• After a successful machine polishing process, the pad also needs to be put in a state for optimal future use.
• We recommend washing the polishing pad in a washing machine at 40°C using a detergent designed for microfiber.
• Never wash pads together with towels or cloths!
• After washing, do not put the pads in a dryer, but let them air dry on a drying towel with the polishing side down.
• If you don't have access to a washing machine, you can wash the pads by hand using certain APC cleaners, diluted at a ratio of 1:6.
• Polishing pads should be stored in a dry place away from direct sunlight, ideally in a closed clean plastic box.
