The Honey COMBination Polishing Pad U-series Green Medium is a foam pad specifically developed for use with all types of paints, both hard and soft. It is a polishing pad made from foam characterized by minimal abrasive power and a very high level of final paint shine. It differs from other pads in this series by its medium hardness and very comfortable handling. Thanks to these properties, it is perfectly suited as a medium pad in multi-step paint corrections and can also be used for one-step corrections, especially with soft and very soft paints.

The Honey COMBination U-series are highly advanced polishing pads made from open-cell foam. By using carefully selected open-cell foam pads, this series offers unique polishing strength while ensuring unprecedented air circulation. This feature, combined with the central hole (only for larger diameters), allows for a reduction in the temperature of the polished surface, the pad itself, and the polisher. The safe thickness of the pad and the side profile with a cleverly beveled shape allow for higher work safety comfort and precision in less accessible areas. These pads are made from carefully selected and high-quality materials, making them suitable for repeated use.

How to Care for Polishing Pads

• Caring for polishing pads is very important for their longevity and future polishing capabilities.
• During work, the temperature of the pad itself is crucial for its lifespan, as it can heat up to high temperatures during paint polishing.
• If you polish the paint for a long time and frequently overheat the pad, you significantly shorten its lifespan.
• Therefore, monitor the temperature and let the pad cool down if it overheats.
• High temperatures affect both the foam and the pad's adhesive.
• The polishing pad needs to be cleaned frequently during the polishing process, or it will stop functioning, and paint polishing will be ineffective.
• Once the polishing pad is clogged with polishing paste, it's time to address it.
• You can use a medium soft brush and set the polisher to low speed to brush out the old paste. Just hold the brush in your hand and let the polisher spin the pad.
• Be careful not to throw the used paste onto the polished car paint during rotational cleaning.
• If you own an air compressor, you can use it to blow out the pad while the polisher is running.
• After successful machine polishing, the pad also needs to be conditioned for future use.
• We recommend washing the polishing pad in a washing machine at 40°C using a detergent designed for microfiber.
• Never wash pads together with towels or cloths!
• After washing, do not tumble dry the pads; let them air dry by placing them on a drying towel with the polishing side down.
• If you don't have access to a washing machine, you can wash the pads by hand using some APC cleaners diluted in a 1:6 ratio.
• Polishing pads should be stored in a dry place away from direct sunlight, ideally in a closed clean plastic box.
