The Honey COMBination Polishing Pad U-series Green Medium is a foam pad specifically designed for use with all types of paints, both hard and soft. It is a polishing pad made from foam that boasts minimal abrasive power and a very high level of final paint gloss. It distinguishes itself from other pads in this series with medium hardness and very comfortable handling. These features make it an excellent choice as a medium pad in multi-stage paint corrections and also suitable for one-step corrections, especially on soft and very soft paints.

Polishing Pads Honey COMBination U-series

The Honey COMBination U-series are highly advanced polishing pads made from open-cell foam. By using carefully selected open-cell foam pads, this series offers unique polishing power while ensuring unprecedented air circulation. This feature, combined with the central hole (only larger diameters), allows for reduced temperature of the polished surface, the pad itself, and the polisher. The safe thickness of the pad and the side profile with a thoughtfully beveled shape provide higher comfort and safety of work as well as precision in hard-to-reach places. These pads are made from carefully selected and high-quality materials, allowing for repeated use.

How to Care for Polishing Pads

Caring for polishing pads is crucial for their longevity and future polishing capabilities.
During work, the temperature of the pad itself is very important for its lifespan, as it can heat up to high temperatures during polishing.
If you polish the paint for an extended period and frequently overheat the pad, you significantly shorten its lifespan.
Therefore, monitor the temperature and let the pad cool down if it overheats.
Both the foam and the adhesive of the pad suffer at high temperatures.
The polishing pad needs frequent cleaning during the polishing process, otherwise, it will stop working effectively.
Once the polishing pad is clogged with polishing paste, it needs to be addressed.
You can use a medium-soft brush and set the polisher to lower speeds, then brush away the old paste. Just hold the brush in hand and let the polisher rotate the pad.
Be careful not to throw used paste onto the polished paint of the car during rotary cleaning.
If you have an air compressor, you can also use it to blow out the pad while the polisher is running.
After successful machine polishing, the pad needs to be put in a condition for future use.
We recommend washing the polishing pad in the washing machine at 40°C using a detergent designed for microfiber.
Never wash pads together with towels or cloths!
Do not put the pads in the dryer after washing, but let them air dry on a drying towel with the polishing side down.
If you don't have access to a washing machine, you can wash the pads by hand using an APC cleaner, diluted in a 1:6 ratio.
Polishing pads should be stored in a dry place away from direct sunlight, ideally in a closed clean plastic box.
