CAN Bus Information

Connection: ISO connector.
Connection: 2 Pin CAN Bus splitter in the vehicle interior (alternatively CAN high blue / CAN low white or on the climatronic CAN high red-brown / CAN low brown).
Vehicles with radio preparation and radio coding.
Vehicles without radio coding require coding to Audio 20 OEM.
Reverse signal +12V may not always be supported — alternatively on the left side of the vehicle blue-white wire.
For vehicles with OEM ISO radio and ISO connector: LFB Mercedes/Smart/VW multiple models — article 42smc002.

Important Additional Information

A specific brand radio connecting cable is required for full adapter activation.

General Installation Instructions

Pre-Installation Verification

Check all vehicle control functions and settings with the original OEM radio.
Remove the OEM unit without power.
Check all interface connections without power.

Connection and Wiring Order

Perform all settings and configurations without power.
Check the configuration of the radio connecting cable.
Connect the cable according to the instructions to the aftermarket radio.
Connect other wires according to the device instructions.
Connect the main power connection last.
Perform software configuration of the interface according to instructions in the description and BDA.
Configure the aftermarket radio for SWC functions, camera, hands-free, antenna power, etc.
Perform a test of steering wheel control and vehicle communication functions.

Changes to Interface and HU Cable Configuration

Make changes without power.
After changes, follow steps 5–8 above.

In Case of Interface or Vehicle System Failure

Return the original OEM unit to the vehicle.
Turn on the OEM unit.
Wait for CAN Bus to sleep.
Check the hardware configuration of the interface.
After CAN Bus sleeps, follow steps 5–8 above.

Modifications should only be performed by professionally trained personnel.

Before connecting, verify function by measurement and according to vehicle diagrams.
