CAN Bus Information

Connection: ISO / Mini ISO connector.
Designed for cars with CAN Bus in Mini ISO connector and 1-DIN Audio 5 OEM unit.
Check the ISO connector wiring in vehicles with radio preparation before installation by measurement – incorrect installation can damage the interface.
Pin 7: +12V ignition Klemme 15, Pin 6: +12V lighting Klemme 58.
Vehicles with different comfort CAN Bus wiring: brown-red twisted > blue twisted = CAN high, brown twisted > white twisted = CAN low.
Rückfahrsignal +12V may not always be supported – alternatively on the driver's side white/blue wire.

To fully activate the adapter, it is necessary to order a connecting cable for the specific radio brand.

General Installation Guidelines

Verification Before Installation

Check all control and setting functions of the vehicle with the original OEM radio.
Disassemble the OEM unit without power.
Check all interface connections without power.

Connection and Wiring Order

Perform all settings and configurations without power.
Check the radio's connecting cable configuration.
Connect the cable to the aftermarket radio according to the instructions.
Connect other wires according to the device's instructions.
Connect the main power connection last.
Perform software configuration of the interface according to the description and BDA instructions.
Configure the aftermarket radio for SWC functions, camera, hands-free, antenna power, etc.
Test the steering wheel control functions and vehicle communication.

Changing Interface and HU Cable Configuration

Make changes without power.
After changes, follow steps 5–8 above.

In Case of Interface or Vehicle System Failure

Return the original OEM unit to the vehicle.
Turn on the OEM unit.
Wait for the CAN Bus to go to sleep.
Check the hardware configuration of the interface.
After the CAN Bus goes to sleep, follow steps 5–8 above.
