• Check analog signals with the OEM unit before installation.

Pin Layout:

• Pin 3: GND parking brake.
• Pin 4: Speed signal.
• Pin 5: +12V lighting (terminal 58).
• Pin 8: SWC GND → connect to GND (terminal 31).
• Pin 9: Key 1 → connect blue wire.
• Pin 10: Key 2 → connect green wire.
• Pin 19: +12V reverse signal.
• Pin 28: GND MUTE signal.
• Pin 42: +12V ignition (terminal 15).

• If SWC commands are swapped, change the connection of the green/blue wire.

Diagnostic LED Indication:

• Blue (steady): interface active, +12V ignition present.
• Red: steering wheel control button function recognized.

General Installation Guidelines

Verification Before Installation:

1. Check all control functions and vehicle settings with the original OEM head unit.
2. Disconnect the original radio (OEM HU) without power.
3. Check all interface connections to ensure they are correctly connected – without power.

Connection and Wiring Order:

1. Check the interface settings and HW configuration – without power.
2. Check the connection cable configuration to the HU – without power.
3. Connect the cable to the HU according to the aftermarket device instructions.
4. Connect the other wires according to the device instructions.
5. Connect the entire installation to the vehicle – connect the main power connection last.
6. Perform software configuration of the interface according to the product description or manual instructions.
7. Configure the aftermarket HU (e.g., steering wheel control, camera, hands-free, antenna power).
8. Perform a functional test of the steering wheel control and vehicle communication.

Changing Interface and HU Cable Configuration:

• Make all changes without power.
• Repeat steps 5 to 8 listed above.

In Case of Interface or Vehicle System Malfunction:

• Reinstall the original OEM HU.
• Start the original unit.
• Initiate CAN Bus system shutdown.
• Check the HW configuration of the interface.
• After CAN Bus shutdown, repeat steps 5 and 6 listed above.
