ADBL Clay Bar Grey
A highly effective hard decontamination clay designed for precise deep cleaning of paint and glass surfaces of a car. It reliably removes even the most stubborn contaminants that ordinary washing cannot wash away and prepares the surface for subsequent application of protective layers. With this aid you will achieve a perfectly smooth surface without the risk of damaging the bodywork.
Every motorist sooner or later encounters deposits that cling to the car's paint during everyday use. Regular car shampoo cannot cope with aggressive contaminants such as fallout rust, asphalt, tree resin or mineral deposits from hard water. These particles gradually lodge in microscopic pores of the paint, causing roughness and loss of deep gloss.
This hard clay is a safe and effective solution for restoring a perfectly smooth surface. Thanks to its optimal hardness and high flexibility, it can mechanically capture and extract all microscopic contaminants from paint and glass without scratching them. The result is a surface that is clean not only visually but also to the touch, which is a key step before applying waxes, sealants or ceramic protections.
Working with this decontamination clay is very easy and intuitive. The clay adapts well to the shape of the body and, when used with proper lubrication, glides smoothly over the surface. Regular use of the clay significantly extends the lifespan of subsequently applied paint protections, as they can adhere perfectly to a clean surface without a barrier of contaminants.

How to use
- Before using the clay, thoroughly wash the car with a car shampoo.
- Work in the shade and on panels that are cool to the touch.
- Form a smaller patty from the clay.
- Briefly soak the clay in lukewarm or warm water before use.
- Always use a suitable lubricant, for example ADBL Slippy, so the clay glides smoothly.
- Spray the lubricant onto the moistened area and gently move the clay back and forth without pressure.
- Never work on a dry surface.
- A fading noise or squeak signals that contamination is being successfully removed.
- After finishing the process, check the smoothness of the paint with your fingertips.
- Wipe and dry the cleaned panel with a long-pile microfiber cloth.
- Regularly fold the clay so that contaminants are enclosed inside and you always work with a clean section.
- Choose the clay type according to the hardness of the paint and the degree of contamination.
- For storage in a container, fill the container one third full with water and a little shampoo and submerge the clay.
- One pack can decontaminate at least 8 to 10 vehicles.
