ADBL Clay Bar Orange
A gentle and highly effective cleaning clay designed for deep decontamination of paint and glass surfaces of a vehicle. It helps safely remove embedded contaminants that cannot be washed away with ordinary washing and prepares the surface for subsequent waxing or protection application. With this helper you will achieve a perfectly smooth body surface with minimal effort.
Daily use exposes a car’s bodywork to a range of aggressive influences, such as fallout rust, tar, asphalt, tree resin or mineral deposits from hard water. These contaminants gradually become firmly embedded in the microscopic pores of the paint, causing roughness, loss of gloss and potentially initiating corrosive processes. Ordinary car shampoo is not enough for these stubborn contaminants, which is why mechanical decontamination using special clay is necessary.
This product represents the soft variant of clay, which is exceptionally pliable and easy to shape. Due to its fine texture it is maximally gentle on the paint, minimizing the risk of creating minor scratches during work. When used correctly with a lubricant, the clay literally glides over the surface and safely captures all the solid particles embedded in the paint without damaging its structure.
The result of the process is a perfectly clean and velvety-smooth paint that is optimally prepared for applying waxes, sealants or ceramic protections. Protective products adhere much better to such a treated surface and exhibit significantly longer durability. Regular use of clay therefore helps keep the paint in perfect condition and maximizes the visual effect of subsequent care.

How to use
- Before using the clay itself, wash the car thoroughly with car shampoo.
- Wash the car in the shade and also work with the clay in the shade; the body panel must be cool to the touch.
- Shape a flat patty from the clay.
- Briefly soak the clay in lukewarm water before use to increase its plasticity.
- Spray a clay lubricant on the panel you want to clean, for example ADBL Slippy.
- Gently move the clay back and forth over the lubricated area, never work on dry paint.
- At the beginning of the process you may hear a slight noise from trapped contaminants, which gradually disappears.
- After decontamination, check with your fingertips that the paint is completely smooth.
- Once the panel is clean, wipe it with a long-pile microfiber towel and a detailer.
- Regularly fold the clay during work so that contaminants are enclosed inside and you always work with a clean area.
- For proper storage, place the clay in a dedicated container filled to about one third with water and a drop of car shampoo.
