Mazda 6 - top sound system with DSP processor

Speaker replacement and installation of an amplifier with a DSP processor into a Mazda 6. Since this Mazda had only the basic factory audio, its owner wanted a significant improvement in sound without distortion at higher volumes. For the new speakers, we ultimately chose a set of component and coaxial speakers from the German manufacturer German Maestro from the higher-end Epic range. Because the front doors originally housed 200 mm speakers, we wanted to keep this size for the more pronounced dynamics that 200 mm speakers can provide. The new German Maestro Epic ES 8009 speakers make this possible and add excellent sound. For the rear doors we chose coaxial speakers from the same manufacturer and range. To fully exploit the potential of the GM speakers, we also installed an eight-channel Audison amplifier with an integrated DSP processor, which proudly holds the "Best Product" designation in its category from the respected EISA organization. On the processor we set crossovers, high-pass filters, time alignment, slopes and a detailed equalizer and finally tuned the sound together with the owner according to his preferences. Of course it was also necessary to thoroughly damp the doors using premium Comfortmat materials from the Dark line, which improve the bass component and mid-bass sound without burdening the doors with unnecessary weight.View products >Hide products >
