BMW 5 (G31) - complete sound system with DSP processor

Installation of a top-quality audio system into a BMW 5 (G31) from the Italian manufacturer Audison, which is exceptional not only for its high-quality sound and power but also for installation without the slightest intervention in the original wiring. This is thanks to a sophisticated system with cabling that ensures full integration with the factory head unit without the need to cut, solder or run new wiring. Audison speakers and subwoofers have the same dimensions, shape, mounting and connectors as the factory speakers, so the whole solution is truly Plug & Play. You therefore won't lose the new car warranty, the system can be removed at any time and everything returned to its original condition, and installation time is of course significantly reduced. In this particular vehicle the "optional" Hi‑Fi Sound System (S676A) was fitted, which includes component speakers in the front doors, a center speaker in the dashboard, rear component speakers in the roof and 200 mm subwoofers under the seats. Everything is connected to the factory amplifier in the trunk. However, the sound quality is far below what you would expect for the car's price and is rather mediocre. The new source for the speakers is an eight-channel digital Audison amplifier with a DSP processor that supplies power to all speakers and subwoofers. Its main advantage, however, is the installation. Thanks to a specific cable the amplifier is connected to the original wiring that led to the factory amplifier. We therefore use the original power, ground and speaker cables without any modification. The final stage of the installation is tuning the speakers on the DSP processor. In an intuitive program we set up the speaker layout, bridge the subwoofers for higher power, configure crossovers, apply time alignment according to speaker placement and use a detailed equalizer. The result is a highly refined sound tuned specifically for the vehicle that, in terms of quality and power, significantly outperforms even optional higher-grade systems from Harman Kardon or Bang & Olufsen.View products >Hide products >
