Kia Ceed with Ground Zero sound system – audio upgrade with an emphasis on quality

Kia Ceed is among the best-selling compacts in Europe and offers its owners a solid balance of price and utility. What is often missing from this car's equipment, however, is quality sound. Our customer therefore decided to elevate their musical experience and approached us to create a system that would deliver genuinely high-quality, dynamic sound without exceeding the set budget.

At the core of the system is the cream of the crop from the German manufacturer Ground Zero, recently honored by the prestigious EISA organization as the highest-quality products in their categories. Specifically, we used speakers from the Uranium series, whose detailed presentation, dynamics and tonal balance make them an ideal choice for our system. Low frequencies are handled by a subwoofer from the audiophile Plutonium line, which—like the selected speakers—is focused on accuracy and fast response. The speakers are powered by a Helix M Four DSP amplifier, whose integrated DSP processor we used for the final tuning of the entire system. Power for the subwoofer is provided by a separate Ground Zero monoblock, and both amplifiers were discreetly installed in a double floor of the trunk.

In the final stage we thoroughly tuned the system based on frequency response measurements of all speakers and created user presets not only for playing music files from the head unit but also for the Hi-Res module enabling playback of studio-quality recordings, for example from Tidal and other platforms. The resulting sound meets our client's exacting standards and is perfectly adapted to the specific vehicle.View products >Hide products >
