Porsche Panamera - new audio system

Replacement of the factory sound system in a Porsche Panamera. If you decide to invest in a car like the Porsche Panamera, you likely expect that besides its exceptional driving characteristics and engine sound you'll also enjoy high-quality playback of your favorite music. Unfortunately, reality often falls short of expectations and the factory sound system, especially the base one, cannot provide the desired musical experience. In such cases the solution is a professional audio system upgrade that can fully utilize the potential of this premium vehicle.

When carrying out this installation we focused not only on significantly improving reproduction quality but also on preserving the original interior design and making maximum use of the factory wiring. We replaced the original speakers with a quality three-way system complemented by an amplifier with a DSP processor for precise sound optimization. For the mid-bass range we retained the original 200 mm size and chose speakers from the Italian brand Steg. Not only for their sound and dynamics but also to satisfy the owner's requirement to keep the factory wiring and connectors, which these speakers accommodate. We complemented these mid-bass drivers with midrange and tweeters from Israeli specialist Morel, whose products are characterized by detailed and faithful sound reproduction.

For amplification we selected a compact six-channel Helix amplifier, which we discreetly installed in the lower part of the trunk together with another amplifier intended for a Crescendo sound-quality subwoofer. That subwoofer is temporary in this installation and will be replaced in the near future—specifically just the enclosure—by an elegant solution concealed in the trunk side panel. After completing the installation we performed detailed interior acoustic measurements and careful DSP tuning so the resulting sound perfectly matched the owner's preferences and the acoustic specifics of the Porsche Panamera. The result of this installation is an impressive, dynamic, and faithful sound that elevates the driving experience in this luxury car to an entirely new level.
