This feature, combined with the center hole (only larger diameters), allows the reduction of the temperature of the polished surface, the pad itself, and the polisher. The safe thickness of the pad and the side profile with a well-thought-out beveled shape allow for higher comfort of work safety and precision in less accessible areas. How to Care for Polishing Pads

• Caring for polishing pads is crucial for their longevity and future polishing capabilities.
• During work, the temperature of the pad itself, which can heat up to high levels during paint polishing, is very important for the pad and its lifespan.
• If you polish the paint for an extended period and frequently overheat the pad, you significantly shorten its lifespan.
• Therefore, monitor the temperature and if the pad is overheated, let it cool down for a while.
• At high temperatures, both the foam and the adhesive of the pad suffer.
• The polishing pad needs to be cleaned frequently during the polishing process; otherwise, it will stop being effective.
• Once the pad is clogged with polishing paste, action needs to be taken.
• You can use a medium-soft brush and set the polisher to lower speeds, brushing away the old paste. Just hold the brush in your hand and let the polisher rotate the pad.
• Be careful not to spill used paste onto the polished car paint during rotary cleaning.
• If you own an air compressor, you can use it to blow out the pad in the same manner with the polisher on.
• After a successful machine polishing process, the pad needs to be brought to a state where it can ideally be reused in the future.
• We recommend washing the polishing pad in a washing machine at 40°C using a detergent for microfiber.
• Never wash pads with towels or cloths!
• After washing, do not put pads in the dryer; let them air dry on a drying towel with the polishing side down.
• If a washing machine is not available, you can wash pads by hand using an APC cleaner, diluted at a ratio of 1:6.
• Polishing pads should be stored in a dry place away from direct sunlight, ideally in a closed clean plastic box.
