This feature, combined with a central hole (only for larger diameters), allows for reducing the temperature of the polished surface, the pad itself, and the polisher. The safe thickness of the pad and the side profile with a thoughtfully beveled shape provide higher comfort of safety at work and precision in hard-to-reach areas. How to Care for Polishing Pads

• Caring for polishing pads is crucial for their longevity and future polishing capabilities.
• During use, the temperature of the pad, which can heat up significantly while polishing, is very important for its lifespan.
• If you polish for an extended period and frequently overheat the pad, you significantly shorten its lifespan.
• Monitor the temperature and if the pad is overheated, let it cool down for a while.
• Both the foam and the adhesive suffer at high temperatures.
• The polishing pad needs frequent cleaning during the polishing process, otherwise, it will stop functioning effectively.
• Once the pad is clogged with polishing paste, it's necessary to address this.
• You can use a medium-soft brush and set the polisher to lower speeds, to brush out the old paste. Hold the brush in your hand and let the polisher rotate the pad.
• Be careful not to throw the used paste onto the polished paintwork during rotary cleaning.
• If you own an air compressor, you can use it to blow out the pad in the same manner while the polisher is on.
• After a successful polishing process, the pad should also be prepared for future use.
• We recommend washing the pad in a washing machine at 40°C with a detergent used for microfiber.
• Never wash pads together with towels or cloths!
• Do not tumble dry the pads; let them air dry on a drying towel with the polishing side down.
• If you don't have a washing machine, you can wash the pads by hand using an APC cleaner diluted in a 1:6 ratio.
• Polishing pads should be stored in a dry place away from direct sunlight, ideally in a closed clean plastic box.
