How to Care for Polishing Pads

• Caring for polishing pads is crucial for their longevity and future polishing capabilities.
• During use, the pad's temperature is vital for its lifespan, as it can heat up significantly while polishing.
• If you polish for extended periods and frequently overheat the pad, its lifespan will be significantly reduced.
• Monitor the temperature and allow the pad to cool if it overheats.
• High temperatures affect both the foam and the adhesive of the pad.
• Regular cleaning during the polishing process is necessary, or the pad will cease to function effectively.
• Once the pad is clogged with polishing paste, it requires attention.
• You can use a medium-soft brush and set the polisher to a lower speed, brushing the old paste away.
• Be careful not to throw used paste onto the polished surface of the car.
• If you have an air compressor, you can use it to blow out the pad while the polisher is running.
• After a successful polishing process, the pad should be cleaned for future use.
• We recommend washing the pad in a washing machine at 40°C using a detergent for microfiber.
• Do not wash pads together with towels or cloths!
• Do not tumble dry pads; let them air dry on a drying towel with the polishing side down.
• If you don't have a washing machine, you can hand wash the pads using an APC cleaner diluted at a 1:6 ratio.
• Store polishing pads in a dry place, away from direct sunlight, ideally in a closed clean plastic box.
