Polishing Pads Honey COMBination O.C.F.-series

Honey Combination Classic OCF is a series of highly advanced polishing pads made from open-cell foam, intended for rotary polishers. Thanks to the use of carefully selected open-cell foam, the OCF Classic pads offer unique polishing power while ensuring unprecedented air circulation. This feature allows, for example, temperature reduction of the polished surface, pads, and polishing machine. The safe thickness of the pad and the side profile with a thoughtfully rounded shape provide higher comfort, work safety, and precision in hard-to-reach areas.

How to Care for Polishing Pads

  • Caring for polishing pads is crucial for their longevity and future polishing capabilities.
  • During use, the temperature of the pad itself, which can heat up during paint polishing, is very important for the pad and its lifespan.
  • If you polish the paint for an extended period and frequently overheat the pad, it significantly reduces its lifespan.
  • Therefore, monitor the temperature and if the pad is overheated, let it cool down for a while.
  • High temperatures affect both the foam and the adhesive of the pad.
  • The polishing pad needs to be cleaned frequently during the polishing process, otherwise it stops functioning effectively.
  • Once the polishing pad is clogged with polishing paste, it needs to be addressed.
  • You can use a medium-soft brush and set the polisher to lower speeds, to brush out the old paste. Hold the brush in your hand and let the polisher rotate the pad.
  • Be careful not to get the used paste on the polished paint of the car during rotary cleaning.
  • If you own an air compressor, you can use it to blow out the pad in the same way while the polisher is on.
  • After the successful machine polishing process, the pad also needs to be put in a state that allows for future use.
  • We recommend washing the polishing pad in the washing machine at 40°C using a detergent suitable for microfiber.
  • Never wash pads together with towels or cloths!
  • After washing, do not put the pads in the dryer, but let them air dry placed on a drying towel with the polishing side down.
  • If you don't have access to a washing machine, you can wash the pads by hand using an APC cleaner, diluted in a 1:6 ratio.
  • Polishing pads should be stored in a dry place away from direct sunlight, ideally in a sealed clean plastic box.
