Maintain the original radio control functions from the steering wheel when replacing the original radio with a non-original unit. Compare the displayed wiring connectors with the connectors in your vehicle to ensure they match both technically and visually. CAN Bus Information

• Connection: 20 Pin Jaguar connector.
• Vehicles without 10 Pin / 26 Pin yellow connector.
• Vehicles without OEM premium audio system.
• Black wire: ground Klemme 31.

Important Additional Information

• To fully activate the adapter, an interconnecting cable for the specific brand of car radio must be ordered.

General Installation Guidelines

Pre-Installation Verification

1. Check all vehicle control functions and settings with the original OEM radio.
2. Remove the OEM unit without power.
3. Check all interface connections without power.

Connection and Wiring Order

1. Perform all settings and configurations without power.
2. Check the configuration of the connecting cable.
3. Connect the cable according to the aftermarket radio instructions.
4. Connect other wires according to the device instructions.
5. Connect the main power connection last.
6. Perform software configuration of the interface according to the instructions in the description and BDA.
7. Configure the aftermarket radio for SWC functions, camera, hands-free, antenna power, etc.
8. Test the steering wheel control function and vehicle communication.

Changing Interface and HU Cable Configuration

• Make changes without power.
• After the change, follow steps 5-8 above.

In Case of Interface or Vehicle System Failure

• Return the original OEM unit to the vehicle.
• Turn on the OEM unit.
• Wait for the CAN Bus to sleep.
• Check the hardware configuration of the interface.
• After the CAN Bus sleeps, follow steps 5-8 above.

When Modifying Connections or Wiring

• Modifications should only be performed by professionally trained personnel.
• Verify compliance with the manufacturer's requirements and the impact on the warranty before connection.
• Verify the function by measuring and according to the vehicle's diagram before connection.
