BMW 1 Series (E81/E82/E87/E88) (03/2004 -> 10/2013) – vehicle with 40 Pin Quadlock BMW connector, +12V constant power supply (Klemme 30) via fused battery connection, MOST output to Cinch, original Business Professional OEM radio, OEM MOST sound system, without iDrive and without PDC and warning tones support.
BMW 3 Series (E90/E91/E92/E93) (03/2005 -> 10/2013) – same conditions as above.
BMW 5 Series (E60/E61) (07/2003 -> 07/2010) – same conditions as above.
BMW X5 (E70) (03/2007 -> 09/2013) – same conditions as above.
BMW X6 (E71/E72) (05/2008 -> 06/2014) – same conditions as above.

General Installation Guidelines

Pre-Installation Verification:

Check all control functions and vehicle settings with the original OEM head unit.
Remove the original radio (OEM HU) without power.
Check all interface connections for correct wiring – without power.

Connection and Wiring Order:

Set up and configure the interface hardware without power.
Check the configuration of the connecting cable to the HU.
Connect the cable to the HU according to the aftermarket device's instructions.
Connect other wires according to the device's instructions.
Link the entire installation with the vehicle – connect the main power connection last.
Perform software configuration of the interface according to the product description and BDA.
Configure the aftermarket HU (steering wheel control, camera, handsfree, antenna power, etc.).
Conduct a functional test of steering wheel control and vehicle communication.

Changing Interface and HU Cable Configuration:

Make all changes without power.
After changes, repeat steps 5 to 8 above.

In Case of Interface or Vehicle System Malfunction:

Return the original OEM HU to the vehicle.
Start the original unit.
Induce the CAN Bus system to sleep.
Check the interface hardware configuration.
After the CAN Bus calms, repeat steps 5 to 8 above.
