16.5 cm (6.5″) plug & play system for easy replacement of standard speakers in models like Fiat Ducato III, Peugeot Boxer II, Citroën Jumper II, Dodge Ram ProMaster, Opel Movano, and similar models. The UG FIAT FD16 impresses with absolute precision in installation and perfect acoustic tuning. The newly developed membrane made of a mix of paper and glass fibers is processed using a special manufacturing process, ensuring the best possible sound! Thanks to ribbed reinforcements, the fiber mix becomes a true high-end membrane. Combined with an extremely powerful ferrite magnet, it ensures exceptional dynamics, punch, and clarity of the finest details. The newly designed basket made of glass fiber-reinforced polyamide plastic in the typical ETON design with double strut is not only beautifully shaped, absolutely precise, and extremely resistant to twisting; the open design, supported by a large opening in the core, also ensures the necessary cooling of the drive system. Thanks to the 3 Ω impedance voice coil technology, which does not require a separate crossover, and the specially developed woofer design, the UG FIAT FD16 is extremely efficient, even in combination with factory radios! The low-frequency speaker and 25 mm (1″) fabric tweeter together form a perfect unit. The finest details are reproduced silkily, softly, and without disturbance, tuned for long distances thanks to the easily installable tweeter crossover with level adjustment. All components are, of course, equipped with precisely fitting connectors and sockets.
