Meguiar's Quik Clay Starter Kit
Meguiar’s Quik Clay Starter Kit is a set designed for the safe and effective removal of chemically aggressive contaminants from a vehicle's painted surface, such as fallout rust, tar spots, tree sap and other substances that ordinary washing cannot handle. Using clay together with a lubricant ensures the paint will be “smooth as glass” and that subsequent polishing or protection stages will be more effective and last longer. The clay is non-abrasive and gentle on the paint – it does not remove or damage the paint layer, yet it effectively removes contaminants settled on the surface or just below it. This kit is ideal for detailers and enthusiasts who want to prepare the paint for a perfect finish.

How to use
- Wash and thoroughly dry the vehicle.
- Divide the surface into smaller sections (e.g. 50 × 50 cm).
- Apply a sufficient amount of lubricant to the surface and to the clay.
- Shape the clay into a flat pad and gently glide it over the painted section in parallel and then perpendicular motions until you feel the surface is smooth.
- After finishing each section, wipe away residues with a microfiber towel.
- After use it is advisable to apply a protective wax, sealant or other protection – the paint is now clean and ready for the next care step.
- After use, clean the clay, store it dry and keep out of reach of children.
