The Honey COMBination Polishing Pad U-series Orange One Step is a foam pad specifically designed for use with all types of paints, whether hard or soft. It is a polishing pad made from foam that provides noticeable cutting power while maintaining a very high level of final gloss. It is distinguished from other pads in the U-series by its medium hardness and comfortable handling. These features make it ideal as the first pad in multi-step corrections, especially for soft and very soft paints, but it is also suitable for one-step paint corrections.

Honey COMBination U-series are highly advanced polishing pads made from open-cell foam. By using carefully selected open-cell foam pads, this series offers unique polishing power while ensuring unprecedented air circulation. This feature, combined with the central hole (only for larger diameters), allows for reduced temperature of the polished surface, the pad itself, and the polisher. Safe pad thickness and a side profile with a thoughtfully beveled shape offer higher comfort and safety, as well as precision in harder-to-reach areas. These pads are made from carefully selected and high-quality materials, allowing for repeated use.

How to Care for Polishing Pads

• Caring for polishing pads is crucial for their longevity and future polishing capabilities.
• During use, the temperature of the pad is very important for its lifespan, as it can heat up to high temperatures while polishing.
• If you polish the paint for a long time and frequently overheat the pad, its lifespan is significantly reduced.
• Therefore, monitor the temperature, and if the pad is overheated, let it cool down for a while.
• High temperatures affect both the foam and the adhesive of the pad.
• The polishing pad needs to be cleaned often during the polishing process, otherwise it will stop working effectively.
• Once the polishing pad is clogged with polishing paste, it needs to be addressed.
• You can use a medium-soft brush and set the polisher at lower speeds to brush out the old paste. Simply hold the brush in your hand and let the polisher rotate the pad.
• Be careful not to fling the used paste onto the polished car paint during rotary cleaning.
• If you own an air compressor, you can use it to blow out the pad in the same way while the polisher is on.
• After a successful machine polishing process, the pad also needs to be prepared for future use.
• We recommend washing the polishing pad in a washing machine at 40°C using a detergent suitable for microfiber.
• Never wash the pads together with towels or cloths!
• After washing, do not put the pads in a dryer; instead, let them air dry by laying them on a drying towel with the polishing side down.
• If you don't have a washing machine available, you can hand wash the pads using an APC cleaner diluted at a ratio of 1:6.
• Polishing pads should be stored in a dry place away from direct sunlight, ideally in a closed clean plastic box.
