The Honey COMBination Polishing Pad U-series Orange One Step is a foam pad specifically developed for working with all types of paints, both hard and soft. It is a polishing pad made from foam that features noticeable cutting performance while maintaining a very high level of final gloss. It differs from other pads in the U-series due to its medium hardness and very convenient handling. Thanks to these qualities, it excels as the first pad in multi-step corrections, especially for soft and very soft paints, but it is also suitable for one-step paint corrections.

Honey COMBination U-series are highly advanced polishing pads made from open-cell foam. By using carefully selected open-cell foam pads, this series offers unique polishing power while ensuring unprecedented air circulation. This feature, combined with the center hole (only for larger diameters), allows for a reduction in the temperature of the polished surface, the pad itself, and the polisher. The safe thickness of the pad and the side profile with a thoughtfully beveled shape enable higher comfort and safety during work, as well as precision in hard-to-reach areas. These pads are made from carefully selected and high-quality materials, making them suitable for repeated use.

How to Care for Polishing Pads

• Caring for polishing pads is essential for their longevity and future polishing capabilities.
• During work, the temperature of the pad itself is crucial for its longevity, as it can heat up to high temperatures during paint polishing.
• If you polish for extended periods and frequently overheat the pad, you significantly shorten its lifespan.
• Therefore, monitor the temperature, and if the pad is overheated, let it cool down for a while.
• At high temperatures, both the foam and the adhesive of the pad suffer.
• The polishing pad needs to be cleaned frequently during the polishing process, or it will cease to function, and polishing will not be effective.
• Once the pad becomes clogged with polishing paste, it needs to be addressed.
• You can use a medium-soft brush and set the polisher to low speed, holding the brush while the polisher rotates the pad to brush away the old paste.
• Be careful not to throw used paste onto the polished paint during rotary cleaning.
• If you have an air compressor, you can use it to blow out the pad in the same manner with the polisher running.
• After successful machine polishing, the pad also needs to be brought to a state where it can ideally be reused in the future.
• We recommend washing the polishing pad in a washing machine at 40°C using a detergent designed for microfiber.
• Do not wash pads together with towels or cloths!
• After washing, do not put the pads in a dryer but let them air dry on a drying towel with the polishing side down.
• If a washing machine is not available, you can hand wash the pads using an APC cleaner, diluted at a 1:6 ratio.
• Polishing pads should be stored in a dry place away from direct sunlight, ideally in a closed clean plastic box.
