The Honey COMBination Polishing Pad U-series Orange One Step is a foam pad specifically developed for working with all types of paints, both hard and soft. This polishing pad is made from foam that offers noticeable cutting performance while maintaining a very high level of final gloss. It is distinguished from other pads in the U-series by its medium hardness and very comfortable handling. Due to these properties, it excels as the first pad in multi-stage corrections, especially for soft and very soft paints, but it is also suitable for one-step paint corrections.

Polishing Pads Honey COMBination U-series

Honey COMBination U-series are highly advanced polishing pads made of open-cell foam. By using carefully selected open-cell foam pads, this series offers unique polishing power while ensuring unprecedented air circulation. This feature, combined with a central hole (only for larger diameters), allows for a reduction in the temperature of the polished surface, the pad itself, and the polisher. The safe thickness of the pad and the side profile with a thoughtfully beveled shape provide higher comfort and safety during work as well as precision in harder-to-reach areas. These pads are made from carefully selected and high-quality materials, allowing them to be used repeatedly.

How to Care for Polishing Pads

Caring for polishing pads is very important for their longevity and future polishing capabilities.
The temperature of the pad itself is crucial during work for both the pad's lifespan and effective polishing.
If you polish paint for an extended period and frequently overheat the pad, its lifespan is significantly reduced.
Therefore, monitor the temperature and, if the pad is overheated, let it cool down for a while.
High temperatures affect both the foam and the pad's adhesive.
The polishing pad needs frequent cleaning during the polishing process; otherwise, it will stop working effectively.
Once the pad is clogged with polishing paste, it's time to address the issue.
You can use a medium-soft brush and set the polisher to lower speeds, brushing away the old paste. Hold the brush in hand and let the polisher rotate the pad.
Be careful not to throw the used paste onto the polished paint when cleaning with rotation.
If you have an air compressor, you can also use it to blow out the pad while the polisher is on.
After successful machine polishing, the pad should be brought to a condition suitable for future use.
We recommend washing the polishing pad in a washing machine at 40°C with a detergent suitable for microfiber.
Never wash pads together with towels or cloths!
Do not tumble dry the pads; let them air dry on a drying towel with the polishing side down.
If a washing machine is not available, you can hand wash the pads using an APC cleaner diluted in a 1:6 ratio.
Polishing pads should be stored in a dry place away from direct sunlight, ideally in a sealed clean plastic box.
