Honey COMBination Polishing Pad R DA-series White Cut is a basic abrasive pad from the R-DA series, specially developed for working with all types of paints, both hard and soft. It is a polishing pad that features a noticeable abrasive performance while maintaining a very high level of final gloss. It is ideal as the first step in multi-stage paint corrections, especially for soft and very soft colors, but can also be used for one-step corrections.

Polishing Pads Honey COMBination R DA-series

The Honey COMBination R-DA series is a range of polishing pads made from closed-cell foam. The R-DA pads offer a wide range of hardness options, helping to tailor the pad to every type of polishing and every surface. These features make the R-DA pads a unique range with a wide spectrum of uses. Good foam quality and precise workmanship translate into high durability. The thinness of the pads, flexibility that increases work comfort, resistance to high temperatures, and a center hole that aids in accurate placement on the backing plate make the R-DA series pads ideal for beginners.

How to Care for Polishing Pads

  • Caring for polishing pads is crucial for their longevity and future polishing capabilities.
  • During use, the temperature of the pad itself is vital for its lifespan, as it can heat up to high temperatures when polishing paint.
  • If you polish for an extended period and overheat the pad frequently, you significantly shorten its lifespan.
  • Therefore, monitor the temperature, and if the pad is overheated, let it cool down.
  • High temperatures affect both the foam and the adhesive of the pad.
  • Polishing pads need frequent cleaning during the polishing process, or they will stop working effectively.
  • Once the pad is clogged with polishing paste, it needs to be addressed.
  • You can use a medium-soft brush and set the polisher to a lower speed, running empty in your hand, and brush out the old paste. Just hold the brush and let the polisher spin the pad.
  • Be careful not to throw used paste onto the polished paint of the car during rotary cleaning.
  • If you own an air compressor, you can use it to blow out the pad with the polisher running.
  • After successful machine polishing, the pad also needs to be put in a condition for future use.
  • We recommend washing the pad in a washing machine at 40°C using a detergent meant for microfiber.
  • Never wash pads together with towels or cloths!
  • Do not put pads in a dryer after washing; let them air dry on a drying towel, polish side down.
  • If you don't have access to a washing machine, you can wash pads by hand using an APC cleaner, diluted in a 1:6 ratio.
  • Polishing pads should be stored in a dry place, away from direct sunlight, ideally in a closed clean plastic box.
