Abrasive Disc Honey COMBination Polishing Pad R DA-series White Cut (125 x 140 mm)

The Honey COMBination Polishing Pad R DA-series White Cut is a fundamental abrasive disc from the R-DA line, developed specifically for working with all types of paints, both hard and soft. It is a polishing pad that offers significant abrasive performance while maintaining a very high level of final gloss. It is ideal as the first step in multi-stage paint corrections, especially for soft and very soft paints, but can also be used for single-step corrections.

Polishing Pads Honey COMBination R DA-series

The Honey COMBination R-DA series is a line of polishing pads made from closed-cell foam. The R-DA pads offer a wide range of hardness levels to adapt to any type of polishing and any surface. These features make the R-DA pads a unique series with a wide range of applications. Good quality foam and precise design result in high durability. The thin profile, flexibility for increased work comfort, resistance to high temperatures, and a central hole for precise pad placement make the R-DA series ideal for beginners.

How to Care for Polishing Pads

  • Proper care of polishing pads is crucial for their longevity and future polishing effectiveness.
  • The temperature of the pad during operation is very important for its lifespan, as it can heat up to high temperatures during polishing.
  • If you polish the paint for an extended period and frequently overheat the pad, you significantly shorten its lifespan.
  • Monitor the temperature, and if the pad is overheated, let it cool down.
  • High temperatures damage both the foam and the adhesive of the pad.
  • The polishing pad needs frequent cleaning during the polishing process. Otherwise, it will stop functioning effectively.
  • When the pad is clogged with polishing paste, it needs to be addressed.
  • You can use a medium-soft brush and set the polisher to lower speeds to brush out the old paste.
  • Be careful not to throw the used paste onto the polished car paint.
  • If you have an air compressor, you can use it to blow out the pad while the polisher is running.
  • After successful machine polishing, the pad needs to be prepared for future use.
  • We recommend washing the pad in a washing machine at 40°C with a detergent designed for microfiber.
  • Never wash pads with towels or cloths!
  • Do not put washed pads in a dryer but let them air dry on a drying towel with the polishing side down.
  • If a washing machine is not available, pads can be hand-washed using APC cleaners diluted in a 1:6 ratio.
  • Store polishing pads in a dry place away from direct sunlight, ideally in a closed clean plastic box.
