The Ewocar Medium Red polishing pad is designed to remove light to medium scratches and common wash and road-use holograms. Thanks to its strong abrasive power, this pad can also eliminate heavier holograms while leaving a perfectly glossy finish.It was specially developed for use with the one-step compound Ewocar One Cut to ensure maximum performance and top results. You can also use abrasive compounds such as Ewocar Heavy Cut, or for smaller scratches Ewocar Fine Cut. The pad has a long service life and the effective composition of the compounds provides exceptional value and allows for repeated use.

How to care for polishing pads

• Proper care of polishing pads is important for their long life and future polishing performance.
• During use, the pad’s temperature is crucial—pads can heat up to high temperatures while polishing paint.
• If you grind the paint for extended periods and frequently overheat the pad, you significantly shorten its lifespan.
• Keep an eye on the temperature and, if the pad is overheated, let it cool down for a while.
• High temperatures damage both the foam and the adhesive of the pad.
• The polishing pad needs to be cleaned often during the polishing process; otherwise it will stop working effectively and polishing will lose efficiency.
• Once the pad is clogged with compound, you need to address it.
• You can take a medium-stiff brush (for example Poka Premium Brush for Details and Pad cleaning - Hard Blue), set the polisher to lower speed, hold it in your hand and brush out the old compound.
• Hold the brush and let the polisher spin the pad. Be careful not to fling used compound onto freshly polished paintwork.
• If you have an air compressor, you can use it the same way—blow the pad clean while the polisher is running.
• After successful machine polishing, the pad should be prepared so it can ideally be used again.
• We recommend washing pads in a washing machine at 40 °C using a detergent intended for microfiber. A high-quality product such as Gyeon Q²M TowelWash works very well.
• Never wash pads together with towels or cloths!
• Do not tumble-dry the pads after washing; let them air-dry flat on a drying towel with the polishing side facing down.
• If you don’t have a washing machine, you can wash pads by hand using an APC cleaner (e.g., Gyeon Q²M APC) diluted 1:6.
• Polishing pads should be stored in a dry place away from direct sunlight, ideally in a closed, clean plastic box.
