The Ewocar Medium Red polishing pad is designed to remove light to medium scratches and common wash- or use-related holograms. Thanks to its strong abrasive power it can also handle heavier holograms while leaving a perfectly glossy finish. It was specially developed for use with the one-step compound Ewocar One Cut, ensuring maximum performance and top results. You can also use this pad with the abrasive compound Ewocar Heavy Cut, or with Ewocar Fine Cut for smaller scratches. The pad offers long service life and the effective composition of the compounds provides exceptional value and reusability.

How to care for polishing pads

• Caring for polishing pads is important for their long life and future polishing performance.
• During use, pad temperature is critical — the pad can heat up to high temperatures while polishing paint.
• If you sand/polish for extended periods and frequently overheat the pad, you will significantly shorten its lifespan.
• Monitor the temperature and if the pad is overheated, let it cool down for a while.
• High temperatures damage both the foam and the adhesive of the pad.
• The polishing pad needs frequent cleaning during the polishing process, otherwise it will stop working effectively.
• As soon as the pad becomes clogged with compound, you should address it.
• You can take a medium-stiff brush (for example Poka Premium Brush for Details and Pad cleaning - Hard Blue), set the polisher to lower speed, hold it in your hand and brush out the old compound.
• Hold the brush and let the polisher spin the pad. Be careful not to fling used compound onto the freshly polished paint.
• If you have an air compressor, you can use it in the same way to blow the pad clean while the polisher is running.
• After successful machine polishing, the pad should be prepared so it can be used again.
• We recommend washing the polishing pad in a washing machine at 40 °C using a detergent suitable for microfiber. A high-quality option is Gyeon Q²M TowelWash.
• Never wash pads together with towels or cloths!
• Do not tumble-dry pads after washing; let them air-dry laid on a drying towel with the polishing side down.
• If you do not have access to a washing machine, pads can be washed by hand using an APC cleaner (e.g., Gyeon Q²M APC) diluted 1:6.
• Polishing pads should be stored in a dry place out of direct sunlight, ideally in a closed clean plastic box.
