This special low-pH product efficiently neutralizes aggressive salt that accelerates corrosion and damages key vehicle components. Road salt is one of the greatest threats to any vehicle, especially in winter months when it accumulates on the underbody, in wheel arches and on the lower parts of the body. Ordinary washing with water or classic shampoos often cannot effectively remove firmly adhered salt crystals. On the surface, salt reacts with organic molecules from fuels, oils and other road contaminants, creating a resistant inorganic film. This film adheres strongly to the surface and simple rinsing with a pressure washer removes only a fraction of deposits. This product acts as a specialized foaming pre-wash with low pH developed specifically to break down these chemical bonds and safely release granular salt, sand and road film without risking paint scratches.

Thanks to its unique foaming formulation, this product can remain on the surface significantly longer than common liquid cleaners. The foam slowly runs off, extending the contact time of active ingredients that gradually dissolve even the most stubborn salt deposits in hard-to-reach places. In areas with extreme contamination the product can be worked in mechanically with a soft detailing brush to further assist in releasing lodged contaminants. This process is crucial for protecting both modern and classic vehicles. For older cars without factory galvanization or vehicles with aged underbody seals that become brittle and crack over time, protection against salt is essential because moisture combined with salt can penetrate micro-cracks and trigger destructive corrosion processes.

The product is designed for easy integration into your existing washing routine as the first step of a two-stage pre-wash. After its application and subsequent rinsing it is recommended to use an active foam that neutralizes any remaining chemicals and leaves the surface perfectly prepared for gentle hand washing. The product is supplied as a highly concentrated solution, allowing flexible dilution depending on the contamination level and chosen application method. You can apply it using a handheld spray for local treatment, via a foamer attached to a pressure washer for full vehicle coverage with thick foam, or even use it as an additive to the wash bucket or through a hose adapter. Each application method offers optimal pH adjustment for maximum safety and cleaning effectiveness.

How to use

• Before using the product thoroughly wet the vehicle bodywork.
• Choose the correct dilution ratio according to the application method and contamination level.
• When working always use rubber protective gloves.
• For first-time use we recommend selecting a stronger concentration to reliably remove long-term salt deposits.
• Apply the product to the lower half of the vehicle, into wheel arches and to the underbody using a spray, foamer or hose adapter.
• Let the product act for approximately 10 minutes, then rinse thoroughly with a pressure washer until the runoff is completely clear.
• After cleaning and drying we recommend additionally protecting the underbody with a protective wax, for example Bilt Hamber Dynax-UC.
• After rinsing the product, use active foam Ultimus or Ultimus+ to neutralize remaining chemical residues and achieve optimal pH.
• Pay special attention to cleaning joints, creases and hidden spots on the underbody where salt most commonly accumulates.
• Never allow the product to dry on the surface.
• Apply only on a cool surface and out of direct sunlight.
• Dilution for deep cleaning before protection: via spray bottle 150 ml product to 850 ml water (pH 4.5), via foamer 200 ml product to 800 ml water (pH 6.5).
• Dilution for regular maintenance: via spray bottle 100 ml product to 900 ml water (pH 6.0), via foamer 100 ml product to 900 ml water (pH 6.7), via hose adapter undiluted (pH 6.5).
• pH values in the spray bottle: 50 ml to 950 ml water (pH 6.1), 100 ml to 900 ml water (pH 6.0), 150 ml to 850 ml water (pH 4.3), 200 ml to 800 ml water (pH 3.9), 250 ml to 750 ml water (pH 3.8).
• pH values in the foamer at 10 liters per minute flow: 50 ml to 950 ml water (pH 7.1), 100 ml to 900 ml water (pH 6.7), 150 ml to 850 ml water (pH 6.6), 200 ml to 800 ml water (pH 6.5), 250 ml to 750 ml water (pH 6.3).
• pH value when using the hose applicator undiluted is 6.8.
• Additive for wash bucket with shampoo: 50 ml to 20 liters of water (pH 7), 100 ml to 20 liters of water (pH 6.75).
