How to use

• Prepare a suitable plastic or stainless container in which the item to be cleaned will fit completely.
• Dissolve the powder in water at a ratio of 1:9 to 1:19 (concentration 5–10%) depending on the severity of the rusting.
• Fully immerse the item to be cleaned in the prepared bath and leave to act.
• Leave to act at room temperature, usually for 12 hours.
• During the process the bath will gradually yellow and then darken; it is exhausted when it turns completely black.
• After removing the item, mechanically clean off loosened rust residues with a brush.
• Thoroughly rinse, dry and prepare the cleaned surface for further finishing or conservation.
