This crystalline corrosion remover works chemically, selectively reacting only with corrosion products. Because the solution is liquid, the bath reaches places that ordinary mechanical tools cannot access. How to use
- Dissolve the product in water at a concentration of 5% to 20% (ratio 1:19 to 1:4) depending on the intensity and depth of the corrosion.
- Prepare a suitable plastic or other inert container that will fully accommodate the item to be treated.
- Completely immerse the object in the prepared bath and leave to act.
- At room temperature, leave for approximately 12 hours, until the solution loses its yellow colour.
- After removing the object, gently clean the surface with a stiff-bristled brush to loosen residual corrosion.
- Rinse the cleaned surface and prepare it for the next step, such as painting, plating or conservation.
- The bath can be reused until it turns completely black, which indicates it is exhausted.
